Türkiye’de yerli otomobil üretebilmek için birlikte çalışma kararı alan şirket ve kuruluşlar Kasım 2017’de Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan tarafından açıklandı.Bu amaçla Anadolu Grubu (%19), BMC (%19), Kök Grubu (%19), Turkcell (%19), Zorlu Holding (%19) ve TOBB (%5) tarafından 25 Haziran 2018’de Türkiye’nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. kuruldu.

The manufacturer plans to offer chargers that can fully charge the vehicle's battery capacity to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. Further details about the TOGG crossover's battery specifications have not been released, but based on current statistics, the production of a 150 kWh charger for the fast charging system is estimated. The manufacturer will guarantee the batteries of the vehicles produced for 8 years.
