Istanbul's busiest international airports
Istanbul Airport, Istanbul (IST)

Istanbul's bright and gleaming new airport, which has both international and domestic terminals, will serve 200 million passengers annually when all phases are completed.
The airport itself boasts a variety of cafes, fast food and snack options, duty-free shops, and a vast shopping area. Make sure you actually get on the plane; the allure of looking at everything is real!
The airport, located on the European side of the city, is easily accessible via specially constructed roads. Public transport from the main center of Taksim Square takes approximately 40 minutes. Bus stops are available in high-traffic areas throughout the city, making getting to and from the airport simple and convenient. A metro line is currently under construction.

Sabiha Gokcen Airport, Istanbul (SAW)
Located on the Asian side, Sabiha Gökçen Airport is situated in the southeast of the city, close to the Sea of Marmara. Sabiha Gökçen Airport has both international and domestic terminals.
A variety of local and international dining options, duty-free shops, and facilities are available.
Thanks to extensive service networks connecting both the European and Asian sides of the city, as well as other nearby cities like Sakarya and Bursa, getting to and from the airport is easy and convenient. Expansions to the train and metro lines serving the airport are planned.
A shuttle service is available between the two Istanbul airports if needed.
